My Fave Colourpop Supershock Shadows

Hi guys! An appreciation post for one of my favourite brands of the moment- Colourpop! Today I want to share a little bit about my four most used single shadows, and some of my favourite eyeshadows in general. These are such great quality, and only $5!

Colourpop is famous for the bouncy, but still powder, formula of their Supershock shadows. I love the convenience of them- I normally just dip my finger in a tiny bit (the pigmentation is amazing) and blend across my lid and into the crease, depending on the colour. My favorite three colours are all matte, but I picked out one shimmery shade that I enjoy as well so you can get a better idea of what would work best for you.

Clockwise, starting from top: Hanky Panky, Get Lucky, Bill, Shop

As you can see, Get Lucky is a brassy, almost khaki, gold (much less yellow than it looks on their site) that I find is very flattering on brown eyes. I haven't found a brush I like for these, but it applies very smoothly with my finger. It wears really, really, well- it is one of the only products I own that looks exactly the same when I get home as it did when I left the house.

I picked out Shop recently because I am loving all the pink, peachy looks I see on Instagram for summer (@fifteenfashionblog). This shade is such a pretty (but wearable) coral that looks amazing with gold or bronze on the lid. I grab this shadow on a fluffy crease brush or a flat shader brush for the lid.

My go-to shadow lately has been Bill- it is a cool-toned violet colour that looks perfect in the crease and smudged on the lid. I normally wear this alone and call it a day (another great shade for brown eyes).

And finally, certainly the easiest to wear of these four, Hanky Panky. A beautiful warm, light brown shade- I use this one a lot- it really warms up the eyes and makes for a great transition or base shade. My go to brush for this is the IT Cosmetics precision shadow brush (shop here)

Let me know if you try any of these, or have any other products you want me to review (any excuse for me to shop a little!). If you think swatches would make this post more useful to you, please leave a comment and I will be sure to start doing that! I can never tell what is useful or not in beauty posts- feel free to request anything! Thanks so much for reading!!
