A Weekend in Myrtle Beach

Day 1 / / Today we (myself and two friends) arrived around 2, and since the clouds were already upon us we went straight to the beach to soak up some sun and use my friend's awesome camera! I LOVED my new swimsuit top from Belk, and got lots of compliments!

There was a little rain, so we left the beach and spent the evening at Broadway at the Beach, a cute little strip of souvenir shops and restaurants. Dinner was a Japanese steakhouse where I had some delish veggie fried rice and was mocked by the waiter:/

Day 2 / / Got to try something new today- an escape room! Going in I was a little anxious, but it ended up being SO much fun and I could not recommend it more. We did the Serial Killer room at Breakout Myrtle. Later we hung out at Barefoot Landing which is another scattering of cute stores and restaurants. I was really good about not shopping this whole trip... but I did cave when I saw these adorable socks!

Day 3 / / Unfortunately the perfect day to be at the beach was the day we left... Sunny and 75 felt so good this March! I woke up a little early to get some sun on the beach before we left around 3. We got some delicious ice cream at a little place called Painterly's (I got fudge ripple, it was delish). A nice four-hour nap and we were back in Chapel Hill so I could watch the game!
