Things I Like To Do Before Traveling

Hello beautiful friends! Today's post is allll about one of my favorite things ever: traveling. These are a few things I always do before a trip. Enjoy!

Nothing beats coming home from a long day to a fresh, cozy bed. Before I leave for a trip, no matter how long, I always put a fresh set of sheets on my bed. That way when you get home there's nothing you need to worry about and you can get your much needed night of good sleep. I make sure to have my room and bathroom all tidy for when I get home, too.

If you know me you KNOW how much I love a bargain. It's ridiculous. So, even though I try to save my money for a trip, I like to look for a few budget-friendly restaurants and stores and the like to save a little cash while I'm there. No shame in treating yourself, but if I'm thinking about a big purchase I like to think about it before the trip to avoid any impulse buys which is another good money saver.

I love taking the perfect Instagram pic to share with you guys- unfortunately, it's much harder than you would think. I like to look up any instagrammable spots before a trip so I can plan on hitting them at some point- although more often than not you'll just stumble across those perfect places while exploring. Going somewhere to take pictures is a really fun, and free, activity. This is one spot I found near Borough Market in London last summer...

I like to make sure my skin is looking its best before travel to make makeup application easier but also because travel can be hard on your skin so you need to nurture it as well as you can. ZenMed Clear Peel is the best skin care product I have ever tried. Just using it once you can see a difference in the texture of your skin, and using it once a week consistently has made a huge difference for me. I like to use it the night before leaving.

I'll be traveling to London next week and am so excited to figure out my fun outfits (lots of posts coming I promise!). Before packing, I like to lay out all the things I am interested in bringing, and then narrow it down from there. Then, once I've got a reasonable amount of clothing for the trip, I try to take at least two or three more items out.

As my big trip for the summer is coming up I've constantly got travel on my mind, so I hope you're enjoying this type of post! Make sure to come again- lots of fashion posts coming up so if you're interested in what I'll be sporting while in London next week be sure to stick around!
