Hi everyone! If you know me in person, you must know how much I love a good deal. It's problematic at times- I can't count the times I've bought something because it was a bargain. But I think my addiction will be helpful for you guys- today's post is a collection of a few amazing deals on really popular school stuff that I've seen. I hope this is helpful for you- let me know if you get any of these items!
North Face backpacks / / These backpacks are not cheap, that's for sure, but they are extremely good quality and actually fantastic value. I have a black women's Borealis backpack- a really plain, compact backpack that I absolutely love. I've had it for two full years and can tell that I will have it for at least 3 more- unfortunately, I paid full price for mine, but you don't have to! The site moosejaw.com always has a variety for sale, including some popular North Face models like the Borealis. You can easily get a North Face backpack for under $70- a little daunting at first, but it will last you at least 4 years which breaks down to under $20 a year. If you buy a $20 backpack every year, you'll be wasting your money!
Vera Bradley lunch bags / / I somehow always end up with a Vera Bradley lunch bag, as do a lot of other gals at my school (this year mine is in the print Painted Feathers). The "Lunch Sacks' typically last me two years, but if you get a light coloured pattern it will show dirt much sooner. At full price, a lunch sack retails for $34, which is not outrageous considering the quality. But, you can get them for half the price or more at Vera Bradley outlets or if you pick an old print from the sale section online (you can stack coupons on top of this too).
Planners / / If you're picky about planners, it can be tricky to find one that fits your needs but not breaking the bank. Since planners are only good for a year, I really hate spending over $15 on them. And if I'm spending near that, I want it to be a good one. I love the execution of Erin Condren planners or even the Day Designers, but those cost close to $50. At Home Goods I've been seeing a great dupe, which costs $12.99 and is from Sheffield Home (below... sorry for the low qual pic!).
Binders, notebooks, etc. / / Buy these on Amazon. Or at least check Amazon before you buy at Target or Staples- there's a good chance it will be significantly cheaper there. If a few of your classes need binders, you can save a little $$ by getting this 4-pack of binders for $8 instead of buying a bunch separately.
Sorry this post was a little lengthy- I obviously have a lot to say about saving money! Hope you enjoyed!
