Back To School Hacks

Hi, everyone! Sorry there was no post last week, tennis practice started Monday and things are just getting busier as the new school year approaches. Anyway, I have lots of awesome outfit pictures to share with you guys in future posts so stay tuned if you're interested! Today I'll be sharing some back to school life hacks that always come in handy to me. Hope you enjoy!

My first hack is to hold off on school supply shopping until the first weekend after school starts- this way you can see what your teachers require you to have and not waste your money on things you won't use.

My second hack is to make detailed to-do lists every day upon getting home from school. No matter how small the task is, write it down and don't cross it off until it is done. Include homework, chores, plans with friends, etc. and once you've completed everything on your list, throw it away. This way you don't feel tempted to leave anything to be done the next day.

One hack you've probably heard before is listening to music, lighting some candles and making a fun, calm study space for you to do your homework. But, instead of distracting yourself with music and other external factors, during the first few weeks of school work on finding a good place where you can always go to study or do homework. Hopefully, this will help you be more efficient during the year.

My fourth hack is to have a go-to morning routine that only takes a few minutes, in case you ever sleep in a little too late. My routine is to brush my teeth, wash my face, brush my hair and throw it into a ponytail, put on some mascara and lip balm, and find neutral bottoms and a top that I know won't clash.

Thank you so much for reading today- I hope these hacks will come in handy to you like they did last year for me. I am headed back to school Monday, so at this time next week you can look forward to another back to school post (maybe a first-day outfit!). Come back soon!
