Summer Favorites

Hi everyone! As much as I hate to admit it, the peak of summer has passed and school is coming back into view (for me at least). So, here are a few of my favorite things I've been using this summer! I previously did a post geared towards summer beauty products, so go check that out too! Anyway, here are a few of my favorites!

Baseball hats: Not only are they cute and fun, but they protect your scalp and face from the harsh sun (and if you've had a scalp sunburn you know how awful they are!). I love this navy UNC baseball hat because I can wear it in the water and it still looks good after getting wet. Hats are one of those items that are cooler the more worn they are (just like boat shoes).

High-necked bikini tops: Mine is a fun blue one from Kohls. I love the high-neck style because it is unique and very trendy (the only downside is an awkward tan line!). I also have a black, embroidered high-necked tankini top that I am yet to wear but looks like I will also love.

Crisscross sandals: Probably not the technical term, but I have been loving these Dr. Scholls crisscross shoes! The style of them somehow goes with absolutely everything (or maybe that's just me making up an excuse to wear them non-stop). All of the Dr. Scholls shoes I have tried are insanely comfortable, and these are no exception. They work with shorts, skirts, and my favorite, swing dresses! PJ Shorts: Finally (and one of my favorites!), I have been wearing these Old Navy pajama shorts basically every night because they are so, so lightweight which is crucial because no matter what season it is, I hate stuffy pajamas. I own several pairs of these shorts and the prints are absolutely adorable! I definitely recommend these and plan on getting more this summer.
