Whether it's a Quinceanera, Sweet Sixteen, Bat Mitzvah or otherwise, when a fancier party comes around there always comes a time when we worry about being over or under dressed. Today I am showing you what I wore to one of my best friends' Quinceanera this weekend. Hope you enjoy and can get an idea of what to wear for these semi-formal events!
My white dress is from Loft- unfortunately, it is a few seasons old so I can't link it, but here are a huge range of similar dresses from Nordstroms. They range in price and style which is great, so if you are looking for a white dress you can probably find one you love here. I even saw a few rompers on there, which could also be perfect for a party like this! With heels or other fancier shoes, and simple jewelry a romper also works for a Quinceneara. Since the party I am going to is in the spring (but it feels like the middle of summer here!) white is appropriate, but if you don't want to wear white a black dress would also work great for this outfit. Of course, you can wear any color you want, I chose to go with white because I picked out my shoes and bag first which are both black (white and black is one of my favorite combos for formal events).
For jewelry, I wore my Kendra Scott Elisa Pendant, pearl studs, and a plain gold cuff bracelet. If you're not a jewelry person, don't feel like you have to go overboard or wear any at all.
The last parts of my outfit are my clutch and heels. I am obsessed with this clutch bag from Olivia + Joy! I found mine at Marshalls for around $15, but you can get it online here as well. The tassel, the monogram, and the gold hardware are perfect for me! My heels are loaners from my mom, but I love them too. They are quite pricey from Stuart Weitzman, but you can get the same look with any black heels. If you are more comfortable in sandals or flats, wear those! I considered wearing flats instead of heels since I am already taller than most of my friends, but I don't get many opportunities to wear heels so I went with a very comfortable and pretty pair. I hope you have a better idea now of what to wear to these parties!
Thanks for reading, and come back soon!
