My Style Inspiration for Summer 2017

Good morning everyone! Hope your day is off to a great start, I just wanted to hop on here and share a few summer fashion pieces I've been eyeing that I can see being staples in my wardrobe. This summer my style I want my style to be fun and unique, but also comfortable, practical and classic. I think from the four pieces I've picked out you can get a good idea of what I'm going for. I would love to do a post about my most-worn summer items sometime soon, so let me know if you would enjoy that!
Enjoy!

Princess Polly Boutique is a little Australian brand that I had never heard of until recently- and I'm so glad I did! I am in loooove with this playsuit from them- definitely thinking about placing an order soon (don't worry, I'm sure you will see it on here if I do!). I find this colour so flattering and the flowy pants so on trend right now. I have some exciting business-y things coming this summer so this would be perfect for those, or even everyday wear with a white tee underneath to make it a little more casual.
I am dying to style this gorgeous top from Zara- the wrap around style is so figure flattering and the colours of this reallllly call my name. I would probably wear this with mom jeans and slip ons, or maybe a denim skirt or pair of shorts depending on where the top hits me.

How fun is this hat? It is so simple and versatile, but the shape makes it super unique and fun. At $13 you really can't go wrong! As much as I love hats, I don't wear them enough so I really can't justify spending too much on them. But, they are a great accessory, especially in the summer when your face needs extra protection from the sun.

And the final piece that is inspiring my summer wardrobe has to be this denim wrap skirt from ASOS. Denim skirts are so, so easy to style- they look great with a plain white tee and Converse, or a dressier top (like the one above) and sandals. The wrap style is right up my alley- I find it a little more comfortable than the button-up trend, as much as I love those too.

Thank you so much for stopping by! As of right now, I have one more day (Monday) left of this year and I am SO excited for summer. I'll have a lot more time on my hands so I will definitely be able to take more pictures for outfit posts. I hope you're excited!
xo,
Sophie
